Your Reliable Channel
Letter Source
Here at Acme Sign Company
we are focusing
on the significant changes in the sign industry
from September 3, 1999 affecting the installation and maintenance
of channel letters.
Changes
in the National Electric Code and corresponding UL2161 require that
all neon transformers have a secondary ground fault protection. This
increased the cost of neon signs and can cause nuisance tripping.
So our R&D
Department developed "FLS"
(Compact Fluorescent Lighting System for Channel Letters) that passes
ALL UL2161 requirements. We are one of the very few companies using
Compact Fluoresent Lighting for Channel Letters
|
* Compact Fluoresent Lighting is approximately
4 times brighter than standard 30 milliamp neon.
* Only 120 volts versus as much as
15,000 volts for neon.
* Much quicker and easier (more user
friendly) maintenance.
